Types of fertilizer granulator

There are mainly several types of fertilizer granulator: double roller granulator, disc granulator, new type fertilizer granulator, two in one fertilizer granulator, rotary drum granulator, and flat die granulator. The double roller granulator are dry granulator, and the remaining granulator are wet granulator.

 

Product Description

operational principle

The rotary drum granulator is a fertilizer granulator that can make materials into circular shapes. Its working method is wet granulation, the output range in: 1-13t/h,suitable for large-scale production of compound fertilizers.

The working principle of this fertilizer granulator is driven by the main electric motor to drive the belt and pulley, which are transmitted to the driving shaft through a reducer. The split gear installed on the driving shaft and the large gear ring fixed on the machine body engage and work in opposite directions, causing the cylinder to rotate.
At the same time, steam, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium slurry are introduced into the cylinder, or a small amount of water is added. The material fully combines and generates extrusion pressure to aggregate into balls under the rotation of the cylinder.

Features of rotary drum granulator:

1. The ball forming rate reaches 90%, with a small amount of returned material and small particle size, which can be re granulated;
2. Heating with steam to increase the temperature of the material, reducing the moisture content of the material after balling, and improving the drying efficiency;
3. Using rubber engineering plastic as the inner lining, the raw material is not easy to stick to the cylinder, and it plays a role in anti-corrosion and insulation;

Cylinder part

The most important part of the entire granulator is the cylinder. We use high-quality medium carbon steel plates welded together, eliminating the traditional scraper device and using special rubber or acid resistant stainless steel lining plates to achieve automatic scar removal and tumor removal.

Bracket

The bracket mainly supports the rotation of the entire machine and is subjected to a large force. Our factory’s bracket is made of high-quality medium carbon steel plate and channel steel welded, which can easily support the machine. In addition, our factory fully considers that the supporting wheels will generate significant friction with the rolling belt of the cylinder. The supporting wheels are made of high-quality anti-corrosion and wear-resistant materials, and hooks are set up in the dead corners of the brackets to facilitate customer loading and unloading.

Transmission frame

The transmission frames of the LANE Rotary Drum Granulator are all welded with high-quality channel steel and have passed strict quality requirements. The main motor and reducer installed on the transmission frame are both ISO national inspection exempt products, with reliable quality. The motor drives the pulley, V-belt, and reducer to drive to the main shaft, making the machine work. The transmission reducer is driven by a nylon cancellation coupling in the working part of the main shaft. The large gear is fixed on the machine body and meshes with the transmission small gear, driving the machine body to work in the opposite direction. It uses high-tech wear-resistant materials, making the service life of the machine longer.

Maintenance

1. Bearings bear all the load of the machine, so good lubrication has a great relationship with the bearing life, which directly affects the service life and operating rate of the machine. Therefore, it is required that the injected lubricating oil must be clean and the seal must be good. The main oil injection points of this machine are (1) rotating bearings (2) rolling bearings (3) all gears (4) movable bearings and sliding surfaces
2. Newly installed wheels are prone to loosening and must be inspected daily
3. Pay attention to whether all parts of the machine are working properly.
4. Pay attention to checking the degree of wear on easily worn parts and replace worn parts at any time
5. The bottom frame surface of the movable device should be cleaned of dust and other objects to prevent the movable bearings from moving on the frame when the machine encounters unbreakable materials, which may lead to serious accidents
6. If the bearing oil temperature rises, it should be stopped immediately to check and eliminate the cause
7. If there is any impact sound during the operation of the rotating gear, it should be stopped immediately for inspection and eliminated

 

Install and test the machine

1. The equipment should be installed on a horizontal concrete foundation and fixed with anchor bolts.
2. During installation, attention should be paid to the verticality of the main body and the horizontal.
3. After installation, check whether the bolts in each part are loose and whether the main engine compartment door is tightened. If so, please tighten it.
4. Configure the power cord and control switch according to the device’s power configuration.
5. After the inspection is completed, conduct a no-load test run. If the test run is normal, production can proceed.

 

Lubrication Guidelines

1. Before starting up, apply dry butter to the gear area;
2. Apply dry butter to the surface of the rolling belt every 7 days;
3. Apply or replace the bearing seat with new dry grease every three months;
4. Gear oil must be added before use of the reducer, and then replaced every four months.

Experimental data

Quartz sand and corn starch:Raw materials include **kilograms of quartz sand, ** kilograms of corn starch, and **% water content for granulation.

Stir with water, feed, granulation (the granulation process requires further water spraying to maintain a moisture content of **%), and sieve.

After sieving, the particles can be 2-4mm and 4-6 mm. After the final drying, the hardness of the produced particles became very hard the next day.
