NPK fertilizer is a compound fertilizer that contains three main nutrients: nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), suitable for the growth and development of various crops.
The NPK fertilizer production line is a production equipment used for producing NPK compound fertilizers, usually including raw material processing, mixing, granulation, drying, packaging and other processes.
1. Nitrogen fertilizer raw materials: urea, ammonium nitrate, ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate, etc.
2. Raw materials for phosphate fertilizer: superphosphate, phosphate rock, monoammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, etc.
3. Potassium fertilizer raw materials: potassium chloride, potassium sulfate, etc.
1. Raw material preparation: Purchase or produce raw materials containing N, P, K as needed, such as urea, diammonium phosphate, potassium chloride, etc.
2. Ingredients: Mix various ingredients according to the predetermined formula.
3. Crushing: If the raw material particles are large, a crusher needs to be used for crushing to ensure even mixing.
4. Mixing: Use a mixer to thoroughly mix the crushed raw materials.
5. Granulation: The mixed fertilizer can be granulated using equipment such as New Type Fertilizer Granulator /Rotary Drum Granulator/Double Roller Granulator .
6. Drying: The fertilizer after granulation needs to be dried, and equipment such as belt dryers and fluidized bed dryers can be used.
7. Cooling: Use a cooling machine to cool the screened fertilizer.
8. Screening: After drying, the fertilizer is screened to remove unqualified particles.
9. Packaging: Use a packaging machine to package fertilizers, and different packaging materials and specifications can be selected.
Multiple factors need to be considered, including raw material characteristics, production scale, process requirements, energy consumption, and cost. Here are some common types of granulators and their characteristics for reference:
Features: Suitable for granulation of lightweight fine powder materials. The finer the basic particles of fine powder materials, the higher the sphericity of the particles, and the better the quality of the pellets.
Advantages: Good granulation effect for fine powder materials, high ball forming quality, suitable for medium to high yield NPK fertilizer production line..
Disadvantages: It may not be suitable for handling non lightweight fine powder materials, and equipment costs may be higher.
Features: Suitable for granulation of organic fertilizer, compound fertilizer, compound fertilizer, and organic-inorganic compound fertilizer, with high granulation rate, high hourly yield, stable operation, sturdy and durable equipment, and long service life.
Advantages: Large output, stable equipment, and durability. Suitable for medium yield NPK fertilizer production line.
Disadvantages: It may not be suitable for certain specific materials, and equipment costs may be higher.
Features: Wide adaptability of raw materials, can be used for granulation of various raw materials such as compound fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, feed, coal, metallurgy, etc., without drying process, granulation at room temperature, one-time molding. High grain density, good fertilizer efficiency, and full organic matter content.
Advantages: Strong adaptability of raw materials, no need for drying process, saving energy and cost, and high particle density. A high-yield NPK production line may require multiple double roller granulators.
Disadvantages: The granulation shape is flat and circular, which may not be conducive to field crop machine seeding and has poor fluidity.
4. Rotary Drum Granulator:
Features: The raw materials are suitable for cold and hot granulation, as well as large-scale production of high, medium and low concentration organic fertilizers and compound fertilizers. The pelletizing rate reaches 85%, with a small amount of return material and small particle size, which can be re granulated.
Advantages: Suitable for the production of various types of fertilizers, with high ball forming rate and less return material. Suitable for high-yield NPK fertilizer production line.
Disadvantages: The granulation rate is relatively low, which may require more processing steps and may result in higher equipment costs.
The technological upgrade direction of LANE Group’s NPK fertilizer production line includes improvements in intelligent control systems, energy-saving and environmental protection technologies, improving production efficiency, and reducing production costs.
